WHAT YOU’LL DOProvide friendly, attentive customer service by answering questions, helping customers find products, and creating a positive shopping experience.

Learn about meat and seafood products, including different cuts, preparation methods, proper handling, storage, and rotation.

Prepare house-made products including burger blends, sausage, hot wings, carne asada, and smoked meats.

Stock, rotate, label, date, and merchandise meat and seafood products to maintain freshness and quality.

Follow food safety procedures, including proper temperatures, storage, sanitation, and quality control.

Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked display cases, coolers, cutting rooms, and work areas.

Learn to safely use, clean, and maintain department equipment, including saws, grinders, tenderizers, knives, and other toolsWHAT YOU BRINGA genuine desire to help customers and provide excellent service—we can teach meat skills, but a customer-first attitude is essential.

EXPERIENCE Previous meat department experience is welcome, but not required—we will provide training.

Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Valid Food Handler’s Certificate required shortly after hire date.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS This role requires the ability to work in a cold production environment with prolonged standing and frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. You must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., use knives and equipment requiring repetitive hand movements and fine coordination, and communicate clearly with customers and staff. The position also requires climbing step stools or ladders, repetitive arm and hand motions, and reaching above the shoulders or horizontally while stocking or retrieving products.

Proper PPE—including gloves, aprons, and cut-resistant equipment—must be used as required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT Work is performed primarily in refrigerated prep areas and a busy retail environment with frequent interruptions, customer interaction, and a strong focus on food safety, teamwork, and efficiency.
