Position: Inbound Sales Lead Specialist - Hybrid*

Mobile Modular Management Corporation provides the following pay range: $20.96/hr - $35.91/hr

About the Role

As the Inbound Sales Specialist you will identify, pursue, and close opportunities for renting and selling modular buildings across various industry segments. You will support the sales team by managing and qualifying inbound web leads and phone calls generated by marketing lead generation programs. Additionally, you will work with the Regional Sales Manager on existing customers’ lease addendums, purchase of equipment and customer-to-customer contract takeovers.

Your daily activity will involve handling a high volume of calls with prospective customers in a consultative manner, making warm handoffs to other sales representatives when appropriate, and meeting assigned monthly performance goals while supporting team performance goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field and qualify all assigned territory leads to ensure proper escalation and management of new business opportunities.
  • Escalate qualified leads to the appropriate sales representative with an overview of the prospect’s modular needs and contact information.
  • In conjunction with the Sales Team, manage the sale/lease and fulfillment of modular buildings from inbound lead opportunities in partnership with Operations and Inventory Center, as defined by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • In conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager, quote and close purchase of equipment off rent, lease addendums and customer-to-customer contract takeovers.
  • Work with existing customers as needed to assist with billing inquiries.
  • nurture cold prospects through ongoing follow‑up, providing basic information on products, pricing and applications.
  • Maintain and audit a detailed and accurate log of lead qualifying activities in the Mobile Modular CRM application.
  • Gather competitive intelligence while qualifying leads and document competitive information within the CRM.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with sales, operations, inventory and marketing teams to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to data quality efforts by creating, cleansing and maintaining accurate customer data.
  • Develop and maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of products, services and competition.
  • Participate in team meetings and share ideas to increase team performance.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership regarding lead quality and performance.
  • Generate outbound prospecting lists and execute cold calls to targeted industries and customer types as time allows.
  • Assist Regional Sales Manager with contract takeovers and customer renewals including any customer interactions and follow‑up as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Must Haves
  • 3–5 years of experience in a sales, operations or customer service related role.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Self‑discipline to handle a high volume of daily calls or follow‑up, including sending quotes to prospective customers.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, writing and telephone skills.
  • Great attitude, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong team player who can also work independently.
  • Ability to multi‑task; flexible and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and meeting deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Experience communicating sales activity and reporting using a CRM.
  • Demonstrated skills in project coordination and time management.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Daily goal orientation, able to drive toward achievement of personal metrics.
  • Solution selling orientation with ability to consult with prospects.
  • Ability to work in data‑driven systems and proprietary quoting systems; CRM experience.
  • Understands basic math and formulas/computations commonly used within the construction industry.
Nice to Haves
  • BS/BA/BBA degree or equivalent years of sales experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in the modular building industry, construction or related fields preferred.
  • Availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm; potential hybrid option (3 days in office after training).
