We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive revenue from our K-12 school channel. You’ll take ownership of Harkla’s school sales pipeline — from nurturing inbound leads to reviving past accounts and launching targeted outreach campaigns.
You’ll use tools like Pipedrive and Apollo to move deals forward and coordinate with our CEO to close high-value opportunities. If you’re detail-oriented, great at follow-through, and excited by mission-driven work that impacts kids across the U.S., this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities- Pipeline Management: Clean up and segment school leads in Pipedrive; maintain accurate deal stages and notes.
- Automated & Manual Nurture: Build email sequences aligned with the school calendar (e.g., budget cycles, renewals); execute 40–60 daily touchpoints (calls, emails, Linked In).
- Lead Qualification & Handoff: Qualify leads based on budget, timing, and needs; book discovery calls or gather POs for CEO handoff.
- Cross-Sell / Upsell: Re-engage past customers with new products and courses; present volume and building-license options.
- Outbound Prospecting (Phase
2): Use public data (e.g., NCES, K12 Data) to target new districts starting locally (e.g., Boise, Spokane); launch campaigns aligned with conferences and purchasing co-ops. - Reporting & Improvement: Track KPIs weekly; A/B test subject lines and cadences; keep CRM notes and learnings updated for scale.
- 1–3 years in a sales development, inside sales, or lead generation role (EdTech or education sales preferred)
- Strong written communication and confident phone presence
- Experience with Pipedrive (or similar CRM), Apollo, and basic email automation
- Organized, proactive, and eager to own results
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
- Bonus: Familiarity with school budgets, Title I funding, and special education
Full-Time Position
