Overview

Inside Sales Associate – Parts (Johnson Barrow) s role focuses on handling quotes and orders for customers, inventory, and account setup, acting as a liaison between manufacturers, customers, and the Sales team. Provides support to the sales team and ensures smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Support:
    Assist the sales team with customer inquiries, product information, and order processing.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
  • Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product line to effectively address customer inquiries and upsell opportunities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Warehouse Operations:
    Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and timely stocking of products.
  • Perform inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and order fulfillment.
  • Prepare shipments and ensure accurate documentation for outbound orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment for efficient operations.
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and/or walk for extended periods.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
    Assist in maintaining sales records, customer databases, and reports.
  • Monitor sales metrics and generate periodic sales reports for management review.
  • Identify sales trends and opportunities to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a sales-oriented role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proficient in using sales software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift operation certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Estimated Salary: $55K - $60K, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
