What You’ll Do
  • Build strong partnerships with builder sales teams by fostering relationships, earning trust, and aligning on shared goals.
  • Engage actively in the field by visiting new home communities weekly within your assigned region to stay connected with sales activity and buyer needs.
  • Collaborate and represent New Home Mortgage at builder events—attend, co‑host, and contribute to community gatherings that strengthen relationships and drive awareness.
  • Meet with potential home buyers and deliver personalized mortgage consultations.
  • Originate residential mortgage loans following company, investor, and agency guidelines (FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC).
  • Guide customers through pre‑qualification, application, and closing, ensuring an efficient and transparent experience.
  • Train and support builder sales teams on financing programs, loan options, and qualification processes.
  • Maintain high capture rates by proactively engaging with every prospective buyer.
  • Review loan files for accuracy, compliance, and quality prior to underwriting.
  • Coordinate closely with processing, underwriting, and closing departments to achieve on‑time closings.
  • Maintain CRM data integrity and produce weekly pipeline and performance reports.
  • Ensure all state and federal disclosure requirements are met in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Uphold the company’s values of ethics, integrity, and customer‑first service in every interaction.
What We’re Looking For
  • Travel Availability:
    Must be able to work onsite with consistent in‑person availability in Boise, ; ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, structured sales environment.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 2–4 years of residential mortgage lending or loan origination experience, with proven success in sales, relationship management, or builder‑partnership roles.
  • Skills:

    Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Tech‑Savvy:
    Proficient with mortgage LOS systems and CRM platforms; familiarity with modern, tech‑forward tools is a plus.
  • Education/License:
    Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license required (or ability to obtain); multi‑state licensing is preferred.
  • Other:
    Valid driver’s license with ability to travel regularly to builder communities; self‑starting mindset, reliability, and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
