Job DescriptionAs a Security Professional – Telecom Access Entry in BOISE, , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries.

As an Access Control Officer at this dynamic tech and media location, you will help to deter security‑related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols throughout the facility. - Manage access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific protocols.
- Provide professional customer service while carrying out security-related tasks and responding to client inquiries.
- Assist in emergency response activities, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor and document observations during patrols, reporting any unusual conditions or incidents as required.
- Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment in a tech, media, and telecom setting.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience working at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
