As a Security Officer – Access Control – Driver in BOISE, , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a dynamic tech and media location. Your primary responsibilities include managing access to the premises, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Control access to designated areas within the tech, media, and telecom location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging arrivals and departures and issuing visitor badges as required by site policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures and adhere to site-specific policies to provide customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting events according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, observing for any irregularities or security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following procedures tailored to the technology, media, and telecom environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
