As a Security Officer – Access Control Logistics in Boise, , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Your presence and exceptional communication skills will support a secure environment for personnel and assets.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help identify security‑related concerns and address potential issues.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific protocols.
• Assist with maintaining visitor and vehicle logs as required by site‑specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following established procedures and coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and activities according to established guidelines.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
