CBI Security is hiring dependable, professional Security Officers to help protect Idaho's State Capitol Mall and surrounding government facilities in Boise.

Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour (Rate varies by assignment)

Day Shift Security Officer

• Wednesday: 1:00 PM–7:00 PM
• Thursday–Saturday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Night Shift Security Officer

• Sunday–Tuesday: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Wednesday: 7:00 PM–1:00 AM (Thursday morning)

Temporary Day Shift Security Officer

• Sunday–Tuesday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Assignment expected to end in early January 2027, with potential opportunities for continued employment.

Flex Security Officer

• Variable day and night shifts
• Weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• No consistent weekly schedule
• Limited openings available

• Conduct foot patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and facilities.
• Monitor entrances, access points, and security equipment.
• Identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Assist government employees, visitors, and the public.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess or be able to obtain an Idaho unarmed security license.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug test.
• Dependable, professional, and punctual.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Able to stand for extended periods, climb stairs, walk multiple miles per shift, and lift up to 10 pounds as needed.
