Job Overview
Midgley-Huber (an Ambient company) is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician-3 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using diagnostic instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Repair or replace defective parts including compressors, pumps, and motors.
- Weld components as necessary for system repairs or installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites as needed.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician-3 or similar role.
- Must have 5-7 years experience.
- Knowledge of refrigerate systems and boiler operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with appliance repair and equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to plumb as necessary for system installations or repairs is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Certification in HVAC technology or relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation: $30-$40/hr DOE
