Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
  • Install, assemble, and test fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, specifications, and NFPA standards
  • Cut, thread, and install steel pipe, cooper, and CPVC pipe
  • Perform service repairs and routine maintenance on existing systems
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and hydraulic calculations
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, and other trades
  • Conduct inspections and ensure systems meet code requirements
  • Maintain safe work practices, comply with OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Journey-level Sprinkler Fitter or Fire Protection license preferred
  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in fire installation and/or service
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods; work from ladders, lifts, and in varying environments
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on active construction sites
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Preferred but not required:
    Pre-action fire suppression experience, NICET level I or II in sprinkler systems, backflow certification
