Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Electrical Superintendent to support electrical construction, infrastructure, and facility operations within a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing campus.
This position will provide field leadership for electrical activities across a highly complex, mission-critical manufacturing environment where electrical reliability, safety, quality, and uninterrupted production are essential.
The Site Electrical Superintendent will coordinate electricians, contractors, technical personnel, construction teams, engineering, and facility stakeholders supporting electrical infrastructure, facility expansions, upgrades, maintenance activities, and new construction.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, data center, pharmaceutical, mission-critical, or other technically complex industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Construction & Field Leadership
- Provide day-to-day field leadership for electrical construction, installation, maintenance, and infrastructure activities.
- Direct, coordinate, mentor, and schedule electricians, electrical contractors, subcontractors, and technical personnel.
- Coordinate electrical work across active construction areas and operating manufacturing facilities.
- Monitor field activities to ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and according to project drawings, specifications, schedules, and applicable codes.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, access, and work sequencing to maintain project schedules.
- Review upcoming work and identify potential constructability, safety, material, scheduling, or operational conflicts before they impact execution.
- Coordinate electrical contractors with other construction disciplines and facility teams.
- Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings, coordination meetings, safety meetings, and project schedule reviews.
- Monitor contractor productivity, workmanship, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Assist with resolving field issues, RFIs, design conflicts, installation concerns, and construction constraints.
Electrical Infrastructure & Power Distribution
Provide oversight and technical support for critical electrical infrastructure including:
- 115kV utility/service feeds
- Large transformers and substations
- 13.2kV medium-voltage distribution
- 480V and 208V low-voltage distribution
- Medium- and low-voltage switch gear
- Switchboards and distribution equipment
- Motor control equipment
- UPS and critical backup power systems
- Electrical panels and distribution systems
- Protective devices and electrical safety systems
Support safe operation, installation, modification, maintenance, and expansion of electrical systems serving critical semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Facility Expansion & Construction Support
- Work closely with design, engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance teams supporting facility expansions and infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide constructability, operational, and maintenance input during design and project planning.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, equipment requirements, and installation plans.
- Help ensure new electrical systems can be safely integrated into existing facility infrastructure.
- Coordinate electrical installation activities around active manufacturing operations.
- Support planning for electrical shutdowns, cutovers, tie-ins, energization, startup, and commissioning activities.
