Semiconductor Construction Journeyman Electrician

SemiConX LLC is seeking a full-time, on-site Journeyman Electrician in Boise, Idaho to build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems across MEP and CSA scopes—without compromising safety, quality, or schedule.

Do You Check These Boxes?

Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Idaho—or eligible via reciprocity from Colorado, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, or Wyoming.

Hands-on experience installing wiring, conduit, lighting, and control systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Comfort diagnosing issues using multimeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.

Fluent in blueprint reading and confident working from 2D drawings.

Deep respect for safety protocols, including lockout/tagout.

Capable of responding to emergency calls and restoring service quickly.

Comfortable mentoring apprentices and documenting work with accuracy.

Able to apply algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to your craft.

Clear English communication skills (spoken and written) and a collaborative approach.

OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 for those in supervisory capacities.

Background in semiconductor environments preferred.

What You’ll Tackle Install, repair, and maintain electrical infrastructure across commercial and industrial areas of a semiconductor facility.

Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and panel boards to ensure proper function and reliability.

Interpret technical diagrams and codes to plan and execute compliant installations.

Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other trades to achieve budget and timeline goals.

Manage tools and inventory to keep work moving smoothly.

Produce clear work orders, logs, and service reports.
