At The Patch Boys, we specialize in making damaged drywall look like it was never there. As demand continues to grow across the Treasure Valley, we are looking for a skilled Drywall Repair Technician to perform high-quality residential repairs.

This role is ideal for an experienced craftsperson who takes pride in precision work, enjoys working independently, and prefers the daily variety of residential repairs over repetitive, large-scale commercial construction. You will serve as the face of our business in customers' homes, delivering seamless finishes and professional service.

In this role, you will travel to residential homes throughout the Treasure Valley (with occasional trips to surrounding areas such as Mountain Home) to complete drywall patches and restore damaged walls and ceilings.

Success in this position means:

• Flawless Texture Matching: Blending repairs seamlessly into existing wall and ceiling textures, including orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel, and smooth finishes.
• High-Quality Restorations: Completing patches and water damage repairs so the finished area matches the surrounding surface perfectly.
• Exceptional Homeowner Service: Respecting customers' property, maintaining clean work spaces, and communicating clearly and professionally throughout each job.
• Efficiency and Independence: Managing your daily schedule effectively, finishing work within estimated time frames, and solving problems independently on site.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• 5 to 10 years of professional drywall experience, with dedicated experience in patching, repairs, and texture matching.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately match a wide variety of wall and ceiling textures.
• A reliable personal vehicle capable of carrying standard tools and at least a 4' x 4' half-sheet of drywall.
• Your own set of professional drywall hand tools required for repair work.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor suited for working inside occupied homes.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

While not required, experience in the following areas is a plus:

• Basic painting and color matching skills.
• Background in general residential remodeling or home service trades.

Pay Range: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Final hourly pay within this range is determined based on past experience and performance on a practical texture-matching assessment during the hiring process.
