We’re seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to support the growth of our utility-focused software platform by contributing to feature development, UI design, and backend integration in a fast-paced startup environment.

Pitch Aeronautics () is a rapidly growing startup creating game-changing solutions for the utility industry. Pitch has developed a drone to install our line sensor, bird diverters, and other equipment on power lines. Our drone‑deployable line sensors wirelessly transmit environmental and line characteristics to an online secure API to help utilities push more power through existing lines, prevent wildfires, and improve grid reliability.

This is a full‑time, on‑site (Boise, ) role for a Junior Full Stack Developer
. As a Junior Full Stack Developer at Pitch Aeronautics, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our software platform, which helps utility customers visualize and analyze operational, environmental, and risk‑related data. You’ll support more senior developers, implement features across the stack, and assist with infrastructure and Dev Ops tasks in AWS. • Contribute to front‑end and back‑end development for our web‑based applications.
• Assist in maintaining and improving our AWS‑based cloud infrastructure.
• Help integrate with IoT devices and third‑party APIs.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces.
• Participate in the development of RESTful APIs.
• Follow secure coding practices and assist in maintaining security of utility data.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and QA as part of a collaborative development team.
• Participate in Agile development processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in full stack development or software engineering.
• Familiarity with front‑end frameworks (e.g., React or Angular) and back‑end languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience working with AWS services or cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Proficiency working with version control tools (Git).
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR and government contract requirements.
