Senior Staff Software Engineer
, you will be a key member of the engineering team and apply advanced technical knowledge, software engineering best practices, problem-solving, and creativity to build and maintain software products that achieve technical, business, and customer experience goals. You will mentor and develop junior software engineers and act as a thought leader and subject-matter expert in multiple technical domains.

• Heavily participate in roadmap definition, working closely with senior product and engineering leaders.
• Evaluate and help shape strategic technology direction and choices.
• Provide thoughtful recommendations in sessions with scrum team members to structure solution source code and implementation approaches, optimizing for maintainability, testability, and performance.
• Work with product management and business stakeholders to understand software requirements and help estimate epics, features, and stories.
• Script and maintain automated build steps, continuous integration systems, and staging environments.
• Apply strategic thinking, judgment, decision making, attention to detail, teamwork, organization, innovation, and initiative.
• Mentor junior members of the development team.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 10+ years of software/data engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in a thought leadership role
• Advanced knowledge of design patterns with a focus on Big Data
• Advanced understanding of Apache Spark, Python, Scala, and Databricks
• Extensive experience with cloud environments (Azure, GCP or AWS)
• Web services standards and related technology knowledge (XML, XSD, SOAP, JSON, REST)
• Understanding of modern software development, including version control, unit testing, and CI/CD
• Healthcare technology industry experience
• Agile development experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to document concisely

This US-based position has a base pay range of $ - $ per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan with a target of 20%.
