Senior​/Machine Learning Engineer

River is seeking a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer to develop ML systems for automation and decision-making in the fintech sector, particularly focused on Bitcoin. Ideal candidates have experience with real-world data and ML model deployment.

In this role, you will design and build machine learning models and LLM-based systems that drive critical decision-making in areas like fraud and compliance. You will work with real-world data to identify meaningful signals and continuously enhance model performance, balancing interpretability and operational costs.

Collaboration with product and operations teams is crucial, as you will address challenges that affect client experiences. You will also contribute to backend systems and data pipelines, ensuring a seamless integration of model training and inference while maintaining high standards in code quality and system reliability.
