Full Stack Engineer

Land Early is building an auto-apply tool that helps job seekers get their applications in front of recruiters faster - finding fresh postings, tailoring resumes and cover letters, and submitting through systems like Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workable. We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and scale the product across our web experience, browser extension, and backend systems.

• Design, build, and ship features spanning front-end interfaces and back-end services
• Develop and maintain APIs and data models that power core product experiences like job matching, document generation, and application tracking
• Collaborate with product and design to turn requirements into shipped, tested, production-ready code
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code review
• Diagnose and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues across the stack
• Contribute to technical decisions around architecture, tooling, and infrastructure as the product grows

• Professional experience building and shipping full stack web applications
• Strong proficiency in a modern JavaScript/Type Script framework (e.g., React) and backend development in Node.js or a comparable language
• Experience designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
• Comfort working with relational or document databases and writing efficient queries
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: testing, version control, CI/CD, and code review practices
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and take ownership of features end to end

• Experience with browser extension development
• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs or scraping/automation systems
• Experience working at an early-stage startup
