• Design and develop APIs, both REST and SOAP.

• Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
• Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end.
• Write automated unit, integration and where appropriate end-to-end tests.
• Use application monitoring, structured logging and tracing to diagnose production and non-production issues.
• Participate in deployment, release and support activities.
• Diagnose application, database, integration and performance issues across the full stack.
• Design applications with appropriate consideration for security, maintainability, observability, scalability and performance.
• Compile and analyse data, processes, configuration, dependencies and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform unit/integration testing, debug, fix, and validate code changes.
• Deliver solutions that fulfil functional and non-functional requirements and align with user expectations.
• Write technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain features across the entire stack, from designing user interfaces and consuming APIs to implementing server-side business logic and database interactions.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies.

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring and Spring Boot, including development of REST APIs and server-side business logic.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript/Type Script front-end framework, preferably Angular.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/Type Script and responsive web design.
• Strong experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, including SQL, JPA, data modelling and query optimisation.
• Practical experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and deployment of applications to a containerised/cloud environment.
• Experience designing and securing REST APIs using OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, with OpenAPI documentation.
• Good understanding of common web application security risks and mitigation techniques, including the OWASP Top 10.
• Strong Git experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted software-development tools.
• Capacity to quickly ramp-up on new projects and competence in collaborating within teams.
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
• Ability in applying security and cloud best practices.
• Proficiency in integrating front/back-end builds into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously.
• Results-oriented mindset, focused on delivering.

• Ability to understand, speak and write English, optionally French as an additional asset;
  Oracle Certified Professional Java Developer;
  Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD); AWS Certified Developer – Associate;
  Microsoft Certified:
  Dev Ops Engineer Expert; equivalent recognised certification relevant to the proposed technology stack
