  First Shift Tuesday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Saturday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Two (2) years or more of related work experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated customer service skills; must understand customer verbal communication
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, email); basic data entry ability
• High degree of thoroughness and dependability
• Ability to:
  • Work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, holidays

  • Create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A (preferred)

• Regulated Service Employee:
  • Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)

Important Note:

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Fuel, wash and detail vehicles
• Perform multi‑point inspection on inbound units as required by company policies and procedures; check tire pressure, oil, and report service issues to the shop
• Record fuel activity and maintain proper fuel and DEF inventories and reconciliation
• Move heavy duty vehicles
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as tire repairs, initially under close supervision
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards and policies; perform facility maintenance and minor tasks assigned by supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned
