LaSalle Network is hiring a Tax & Staff Accountant to join a growing organization in Bolingbrook, IL. This Tax & Staff Accountant will support tax reporting, general ledger activity and payroll-related accounting. • Prepare, post and reconcile payroll-related journal entries for monthly and year-end reporting
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts tied to payroll, benefits and employee-related transactions
• Manage intercompany processing, including month-end close, preparing statements and issuing shared services invoices
• Generate audit support documentation
• Process monthly general ledger accruals, including recurring and non-recurring expenses
• Review and update monthly FTE reporting with the Payroll team
• Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and support the closing process
• Prepare and submit U.S. and Canadian sales tax returns monthly/quarterly
• Coordinate with external tax providers regarding corporate tax payments and required documentation
• Gather and organize financial information for sales prequalification packages and annual renewals
• Support ad hoc projects, system improvements and compliance initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative, onsite environment

• Competitive compensation of $60,000–$80,000
