Responsibilities- Manage month‑end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and various reporting functions.
- Review revenue recognition and make necessary adjustments for close.
- Research and investigate accounts, maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, and conduct variance analysis.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Participate in the development and review of annual operating budgets.
- Assist in quarterly, interim, and year‑end financial processes.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience with SAP and in the manufacturing industry.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, X‑lookups, and V‑lookups.
- Direct experience working with SAP within the last year, with the ability to explain different modules and T‑codes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
Skills & Qualifications
- Power BI knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Cost accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience in high‑volume manufacturing industries.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Highly detail‑oriented and organized.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
The company is poised for significant growth, with expectations to increase sales by over $15 million in the coming year. They have recently secured a contract with Amazon, which promises a stable and promising business outlook for the next three years. The warehouse is expanding, currently employing over 300 people. The accounting and finance team is currently understaffed, offering opportunities for growth as the team stabilizes.
This role will sit at the Bolingbrook location but report into the Hobart, IN office. Some travels to Hobart during training may be required.
This is a Permanent position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $92,000.00/yr. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well‑being, and professional growth.
