Our client seeks a results-oriented, hunter mentality Business Development Manager to focus on new business growth, primarily in their in-house brokerage and secondarily in retail LTL consolidation. The role involves establishing new relationships and opportunities to drive revenue growth. If you excel at solving client pain points and developing sales strategies, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Responsibilities:- Lead sales efforts by coordinating new business development with internal teams in operations and pricing.
- Develop and execute action plans to generate new business.
- Prospect and understand current challenges within the logistics sector, building opportunities aligned with both immediate and long-term revenue goals.
- Engage in new business prospecting, working in an entrepreneurial environment that empowers decision-making.
- Identify, target, and close new business opportunities, overcoming objections.
- Adapt sales approaches based on client needs, negotiate effectively, and up-sell where appropriate.
- Maintain professionalism, optimism, and ethical standards, managing time and workload effectively.
- Set and exceed goals, demonstrating responsibility, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 5 years in Brokerage Sales.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven prospecting skills for short, mid, and long-term growth.
- Strong fiscal management and critical thinking abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- An existing book of business is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce and related technologies.
