We provide dental services using state of the art technology and exceptional lifetime care for our patients, and want to hire team members who want to grow, work in a satisfying environment and foster a strong team building culture.

As a Business Assistant ( Front Desk Receptionist ), you are the first person that our patients see when they walk in and have one of the most ( if not the most ) important positions in a dental office. You will work in an environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a dental office / same position
• Spanish Speaking
• Saturday availability is essential. While you won’t be scheduled every Saturday, being available is a requirement for the role.
• Start time is as early as 8:20 AM each day.
• End times can vary:
• On weekdays, we close at 6:00pm, and shifts can go as late as 6:45 PM, though most days end earlier.
• On Saturdays, we close at 3:00 pm the latest shift ends at 3:45 PM, but again, most Saturdays finish sooner.

We Prefer

• Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend
• Cross Trained / some knowledge of the Clinical side.

The Role

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, as well as sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education to patients
• Knowledge of Account Ledger
• Insurance Breakdown
• Answering phone calls
• Scheduling appointments
• Creating and Presenting treatment plans
• Checkout patients
• Charge patients for services
• Create claims
• Send claims
• Send Pre Authorizations
• Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Adherence to HIPAA protocols
• Other duties associated with Business Assistants & Receptionists at a dental office.
• Partner with the providers and team to implement our systems and maximize office workflow
