Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

$40–$50/hour (based on experience)

We’re partnering with a growing engineering team to add an experienced Mechanical Designer III to support new product development initiatives
. This role is ideal for a hands‑on designer who enjoys owning designs from concept through release and collaborating closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Create 3D CAD models and assemblies from concepts, sketches, and engineering input
  • Develop detailed component and assembly drawings with proper dimensioning and GD&T
  • Apply design‑for‑manufacturing principles for machined, molded, and fabricated parts
  • Perform tolerance stack‑ups and support design validation
  • Prepare models for prototyping, 3D printing, and engineering analysis
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and product validation activities
  • Participate in engineering change and documentation release processes
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
  • Provide technical guidance to junior designers as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology (required)
  • 8+ years of mechanical design experience in a product development or engineering environment
  • 8+ years of hands‑on 3D CAD experience (Creo preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
  • Experience creating accurate models, drawings, and bills of materials
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
