Base pay range: $18.87/hr - $28.38/hr.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care: gather patient stats before and after treatment, initiate and terminate treatment, monitor patients during treatment, and collect blood samples per physician orders.
  • Technician duties: prepare hemodialysis machines for treatment, clean and disinfect machines after treatment, conduct machine safety checks and log results for quality control, ensuring all protocols and regulations are followed.
  • Safety and quality: use appropriate safety measures and personal protective equipment; adhere to company policies, procedures, state/federal laws; participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
  • Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
  • Comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
  • Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
Other Requirements
  • Successful completion of U.S. Renal Care training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrating competency with hemodialysis theory and practice within 8 weeks of hire.
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by the state.
  • Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through a state certification program or national commercially available certification program within 18 months of hire and maintained in good standing thereafter.
