Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Illinois | Leave Coverage Assignment
Help Young Learners Find Their Voice. Support Communication Growth.
We're partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a temporary leave coverage assignment serving Pre-K students. This part-time opportunity runs from August 19 through November 11 and is a great fit for an SLP who enjoys working with young learners and creating meaningful communication outcomes.
In this role, you will provide specialized speech and language services tailored to the individual needs of preschool students. You will have the opportunity to develop engaging therapy strategies, collaborate with educators and families, and support students as they strengthen their communication skills in an early childhood setting.
This assignment offers the chance to make an immediate impact within a supportive school environment while delivering individualized services that encourage language development, confidence, and student success. The ideal candidate will enjoy collaborating with a team and creating positive, student-centered therapy experiences.
RequirementsMust hold a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field, along with an active Illinois Speech Language Pathology license and Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language Pathology endorsement. ASHA certification is preferred, and applicants should demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and clinical skills to effectively support preschool students.
