We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of eCommerce Transportation & Delivery Operations to lead the strategy, execution, and innovation of our eCommerce shipping network. This role is critical to ensuring fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery for our digital customers while advancing our capabilities in a fast-moving, highly competitive retail landscape.

This leader will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day eCommerce transportation operations and long-term strategic initiatives, including P&L ownership, carrier partnerships, and technology-driven improvements. They will serve as a key connector across Supply Chain, Digital Operations, IT, Merchandising, and FP&A teams to ensure alignment and delivery of business objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep subject matter expertise in eCommerce transportation, a strong understanding of emerging digital solutions, and the leadership acumen to thrive in a complex, cross-functional environment.

• Own and manage the end-to-end eCommerce transportation strategy and operations, with a focus on customer delivery experience, speed, and cost optimization
• Lead parcel network operations, including last-mile, ship-from-store, and fulfillment center shipping
• Develop and manage relationships with national, regional, and local carriers to ensure performance, innovation, and favorable commercial terms
• Partner with FP&A to manage transportation P&L, ensuring budget adherence and identifying areas of savings or investment
• Leverage data, analytics, and digital tools to inform routing strategies, service enhancements, and cost-efficiency opportunities
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, IT, and Digital Operations to implement scalable shipping solutions that support growth, omnichannel strategies, and digital innovation
• Lead and coach a high-performing team, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development
• Develop playbooks, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to track service levels, spend, and customer impact
• Serve as the transportation lead for key digital and omnichannel initiatives including peak planning, new fulfillment nodes, and customer promise enhancements
• Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive forward-thinking solutions in a rapidly evolving eCommerce ecosystem

• Support and complete occasional or ad hoc tasks aligned with team or enterprise priorities
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technology
• Engage in departmental and organizational duties including documentation, process standardization, and audit readiness
• Participate in company culture initiatives, team events, and engagement activities that foster an inclusive and collaborative environment
• Lead or contribute to special projects and enterprise-wide initiatives as needed
• Provide cross-functional support to other departments or teams when priorities align or capacity allows

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain with a strong emphasis on eCommerce parcel operations
• Proven success in managing P&L responsibilities and delivering cost-effective solutions at scale
• Demonstrated experience working with national carriers (e.g., Fed Ex, UPS,…
