Material Handler II – Central Warehouse Receiving

G&W Electric Co. invites experienced material handlers to support our central warehouse operations. The role involves moving materials between cells, performing inventory transactions, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

• Unload, inspect, and put away incoming materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks.
• Move materials between cells, following routing tickets and delivery orders.
• Fill orders from storage areas and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand trucks and powered lift trucks to stack loaded pallets.
• Load outbound trucks and perform cycle counts as requested.
• Accurately execute inventory transactions in the G&W business system.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
• Train and collaborate with team members to perform material handler tasks.

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience, ideally in a high‑volume environment.
• Valid forklift or powered lift equipment certification.
• Intermediate computer skills (business system and EDI).
• Strong communication, accuracy, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license (when required).

• Medium – Heavy physical demands: lift up to 75 lb on occasional baseline; lift up to 40 lb on frequent baseline; push/pull up to 40 lb on frequent baseline.
• Standing, walking, bending, squatting, and kneeling are continuous or frequent.

Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on skills and experience).
