The Machine Operator performs set‑ups, makes minor adjustments, and operates packaging equipment. They identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality per customer requirements, perform wash and changeover of equipment, and work with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.

Monday through Friday + Weekends.

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM – with $1.50 shift differential.

• Performs accurate set‑ups on equipment for particular product runs.
• Operates equipment and adjusts as necessary to ensure it operates correctly and meets quality specifications.
• Inspects and tests packages, and documents results.
• Stages and checks required materials for quick and accurate change‑overs in production.
• Completes and assembles all required documentation.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledgeable in GMPs and the HACCP program or willing to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of material required for orders.
• Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and communicate changes to line workers.
• Ability to handle small tools.
• Ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and write in English (preferred).

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to various machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
• Work can be warm or refrigerated depending on location.
• Team environment – must work well with others and communicate respectfully and professionally.
• Stand up 80% of the scheduled time.
• Lift 40 lbs. unassisted and 40–75 lbs. assisted.
• Work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, across shifts.

Starting Pay:
Machine Operator I $17.00/hr., Machine Operator II $19.05/hr., Machine Operator III $22.00/hr a shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. Benefits include health, dental, 401(k), and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
