Warehouse Lead (Retail Department) - 2nd Shift
The Warehouse team is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead to assist with the coordination and monitoring of the daily operations of the Warehouse department by providing work leadership to the Warehouse team. This is a great opportunity to join our 2nd shift with $1.00 differential - 2:00-10:30pm teams!
Responsibilities- Monitor and supervise assigned team ensuring all employees are working safely and efficiently while staying on task
- Participate in daily shift meetings to share any pertinent information or issues between shifts, promoting interaction and communication between all three shifts and related departments
- Coordinate and assign all team members their daily tasks
- Be sure pickers and packers are accurate and productive
- Receive and appropriately react to all department related reports
- Email any and all necessary parties with regard to product and personnel issues
- Package various products to order specifications
- Work as part of a team to ensure efficiency when processing orders
- Train new and existing team members on company and departmental policies and procedures, including safety protocols; enforce all company policies, procedures, and protocols
- Follow all safety and company procedures while performing work duties
- Perform other duties as assigned, both within and outside of the department
- Experience using an RF Scanner
- Ability to read and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Must possess a high degree of attention to detail to avoid shortages, delays, work stoppages, and other issues that lead to downtime or efficiency loss
- Dependable, with an excellent attendance record
- Able to stand for the duration of the shift; lift and move up to 20lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime, as required
- Epicor experience is a plus
- Authorized to work in the United States
