The eCommerce New Growth Partnerships role is responsible for activating new growth opportunities with external channels to drive incremental value for Ulta Beauty. This role leads the end-to-end execution of key eCommerce partnership initiatives— from early strategic sprints and design decisions through run-state management and optimization. Working in close collaboration with the Sr. Manager, eCommerce Strategy, this role will co-lead priority initiatives, manage day-to-day partnership operations, and deliver ongoing performance reporting and insights.
The position partners extensively with external channels, partners and cross-functional teams across the Ulta Beauty enterprise.
- In collaboration with the Sr. Manager, eCommerce Strategy, serve as a central owner for bringing new partnerships to life, ensuring seamless execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery against growth goals.
- Manage fast-paced partnership launches from concept to go-live, operating with agility and adapting quickly to new information and shifting priorities.
- Translate business objectives into partnership requirements, operational frameworks, and scalable design decisions that set up long-term success.
- Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Product, IT, Supply Chain, FP&A, Legal, and other partners to define needs, align on approach, and enable efficient execution.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of platform and channel partnerships, ensuring accuracy and consistency across pricing, promotions, catalog management, and service levels.
- Manage the end-to-end order and fulfillment lifecycle, monitoring performance, identifying issues early, and coordinating with partners to maintain reliable operations.
- Troubleshoot operational, technical, and customer-impacting issues, driving timely resolution and minimizing disruption to the guest experience.
- Partner with channel partner teams and internal Guest Services to manage escalations related to orders, fulfillment, and product inquiries.
- Lead the returns and refund process for partnership orders, ensuring clear policies, accurate reconciliation, and strong channel alignment.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Supply Chain to ensure forecasts reflect planned events, promotions, marketing moments, and operational realities.
- Manage the full end-to-end sampling process for new growth partnerships, from planning through execution.
- Partner with Merchandising to shape sampling assortment strategy, identifying hero products, key messaging points, and promotional considerations.
- Develop merchandising strategies for sampling and promotional programs, ensuring alignment with broader partnership goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging, content, and placement for hero products and sampling initiatives.
- Work with merchants and brand partners to secure sample inventory and with Marketing to ensure optimal allocation across channels.
- Maintain partnership reporting and performance tracking, identifying trends and providing insights that inform strategy and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain standardized reporting across internal and external data sources.
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting across key KPIs including sales, margin, mix of business, and engagement metrics.
