In this role, you will be a key marketing leader envisioning and implementing integrated marketing strategies to drive critical business growth.

The Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing reports directly to the Director of Integrated Marketing and is responsible for the development and execution of collaborative marketing strategies for Ulta Beauty’s key categories. This role is pivotal in delivering innovative campaigns that drive mutual growth for Ulta Beauty.

The ideal candidate is a visionary marketer with a proven ability to foster relationships, drive performance, and align cross‑functional teams toward shared goals. The Sr. Manager will partner with cross‑functional teams, UB Media, Merchandising, and applicable brand partners to drive category growth through an always‑on, omni calendar framework. This individual must be a strong brand strategist who loves the art and science of marketing plan development.

The Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing has an inclusive and collaborative leadership style with an entrepreneurial mindset.

You’ll Accomplish These Goals By:
  • Lead the development and execution of omni‑channel marketing campaigns and initiatives including brief development, messaging approach and go‑to‑market plans across categories.
  • Serve as the go‑to marketing contact for brand partners and Ulta Beauty category merchants while leading campaigns that deliver against business objectives.
  • Build reciprocal partnerships cross‑functionally in a highly matrixed organization: merchandising, customer growth marketing, consumer insights, media, creative, and other key stakeholders to ensure execution of marketing plans/strategies is data driven, clear and cohesive.
  • Analyze performance and learnings from previous campaigns to inform future strategies and execution.
  • Collaborate with peers to manage brand production budget; coordinate with paid media and social budget owners to ensure cohesive planning process and view.
  • Maintain knowledge of key retail and industry happenings, consumer and cultural insights, internal operation processes and competitive landscape.
  • Cultivate a collaborative work environment. Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure coordination and cohesive strategies, while still empowering individual teams’ spaces.
  • Be a thought leader; motivate, inspire, and mentor others.
The Essentials for Success
  • 8+ years brand marketing experience; consumer‑facing marketing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading 360 integrated campaigns across the consumer marketing funnel that delivered measurable business results.
  • A big‑picture strategic thinker with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data/insights into marketing strategies, as well as an organized "doer," with a data‑driven mentality and a bias toward action.
  • Strong experience managing through ambiguity to shape, elevate and move planning forward.
  • Proactive problem‑solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.
  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross‑functional team; ability to lead through influence to gain buy‑in from stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated creativity and creative management, including collaborating with a creative team and/or agency partners.
