A line cook will prepare and cook dishes at a specific station, clean prep areas, and keep the kitchen stocked. The role requires preparing and cooking food, answering executive or sous chef instructions, and ensuring timely, high‑quality service.

• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station and manage leftover food.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and on time.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

• Handle high volume shifts efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
• Familiar with industry best practices.
• Certified in Food Safety.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Can stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
