Join to apply for the Guest Advocate role starting hourly rate is $17.00 USD per hour, with a pay range of $17.00 – $25.50 per hour.
OverviewGuest Advocates welcome guests, provide excellent service, and support various store operations including checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while maintaining high quality and store cleanliness.

- You are open to a flexible schedule (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak times).
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
- Greet guests, assist with daily tasks, and solve guest needs with a welcoming approach.
- Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and enhance the guest experience.
- Explain and assist with Target Loyalty program benefits and/or sign-up as needed.
- Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
- Minimize guest wait times while maintaining service accuracy.
- Explain how to use features in the Target App, including Wallet; assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
- Handle returns and escalate with Leaders as needed following Target policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and restock supplies during open hours.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
- Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders and returns, while complying with laws and regulations.
- Other duties as needed by the business.
- Effective communication and a welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to educate guests about products and services.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or with a team.
- Capability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift and handle occasional lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
