Retail Truckload (TL) Sales Executive
UC Group is a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Truckload (TL) Sales Executive to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is designed for a true hunter — someone who thrives on developing new business relationships and driving growth in our Retail Truckload and Freight Brokerage divisions.
As a key member of our sales organization, you will identify new opportunities, develop customized full-truckload solutions, and expand UC Group’s presence within the retail transportation market. Key Responsibilities- Lead new business development focused on retail truckload (TL) and full-truckload brokerage opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate short-, mid-, and long-term revenue growth.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business with retail shippers and distribution partners.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted logistics advisor.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams — operations, pricing, and carrier management — to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Understand customer supply chain challenges and design tailored truckload transportation solutions.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements that align with company objectives and customer needs.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage the pipeline, track performance, and forecast revenue.
- Experience in Truckload (TL) Sales
, Retail Transportation
, or Freight Brokerage
. - LTL Retail Sales experience is a strong plus and highly beneficial to success in this role.
- Proven ability to develop, negotiate, and close truckload business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of the retail supply chain, transportation, and distribution sectors
. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong financial acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Team-oriented approach with a commitment to collaboration and customer success.
- Existing book of business within retail or truckload transportation (preferred).
