This position will oversee the industrial water treatment operations in Bolingbrook, IL.

- Complete understanding of all purified water systems components and 5‑10 years industrial water system installation experience (including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, de‑ionization, resin, filters, softeners).
- Experience and working knowledge of all plumbing materials (copper, PVC, CPVC, Poly, PVDF).
- Experience managing a small technical team.
- 5‑10 years’ experience with large commercial water treatment equipment, installation and service, including laboratory polishing equipment, Thornton meters, and Millipore equipment.
- The ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Presentation and facilitation skills with classroom training experience.
- Excellent customer service, problem‑solving, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Understanding of water chemistry and basic knowledge of electricity and control wiring.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- WQA certification and Culligan School courses recommended.
- Computer skills with demonstrated experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Customer focus and good customer relationships.
- Maintain a work schedule that accommodates task completion and company needs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of company policies, procedures, and handbook information.

- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing on equipment and staffing needs.
- Work with Engineering on design when needed.
- Oversee industrial service operations based in Burnsville, MN.
- Provide supervision to MN technicians.
- Lead the team to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Maintain QSR procedures, including training coordination and annual system auditing.
- Develop and monitor budget for departmental responsibilities.
- Work with the company safety committee and provide safety training for the industrial service department.
- Ensure completion of core performance goals, hiring and firing, pay recommendations, training, and performance management.
- Control and minimize labor, delivery, administrative supplies, and repair expenses.
- Oversee workload, timekeeping, and time‑off schedules.
- Coordinate administrative paperwork with customer service, accounting, and human resources.
- Support training needs of the lead service technician.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with Purchasing.
- Schedule and conduct training as needed.
- Conduct quarterly core performance goal‑setting with service technicians.
- Provide quality customer service in the geographic area.
- Provide advanced support and oversight for installation, startup, service maintenance, modification, and repair of commercial and industrial water purification equipment and systems.
- Work with customers to schedule installation and service.
- Manage work schedule, performance, and training of service technicians in the area office.
- Supervise delivery and installation of DI tanks for area customers.
