Position Description
We have an opening for a Dedicated Solo Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Bolingbrook, IL.

Video/CDLstrapping
- Weekly Guarantee $1525 per week
- Hours per week: 50 or more (Sunday – Thursday schedule)
- Daily Pay: $305 per day
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.50 per mile with 800 miles per week
- Solo Stops Pay: $15 per stop with 40 stops per week
- Retention Bonus: $1200 paid four times a year ($300 per quarter)

- Start Time: 5:30 PM
Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a trained technician plus fuel up at all 800+ maintenance facilities.

Local Home Daily, Shuttle to University Park, IL. Tractor type:
Day cab Automatic. Trailer type:
Flatbed 48' and 53'. Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful. Freight:
Touch – Steel and Metal.

- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Pass a Ryder drug test.
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
- Pass a DOT physical.
- Pass a Ryder road test.
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records and logs.
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
