Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring for Warehouse Associates in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver positions pay weekly. Hourly pay $19.00 per hour.

Schedule:

First shift Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

We handle engine and HVAC parts using walkie‑riders.

We offer weekly pay, on‑job training, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) starting at 30 days, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred.
  • Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s) (e.g., stand‑up or sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) – intermediate required.
  • May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (e.g., packaging line) – intermediate preferred.
  • Powered industrial truck certification.
  • Ability to read and use basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, and policies.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to input data into the WMS computer system.
  • Work overtime as assigned.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Self‑motivated, capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
Responsibilities
  • Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure correct scanning and secure facility at shift end; investigate scanning issues and housekeeping.
  • Perform assigned tasks per location policies and procedures, including material handling.
  • Perform material moves for associated physical/logical transactions.
  • Participate in workgroup and team activities for self‑improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
