Warehouse Team Lead Manager Support 1st Shift

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is immediately hiring for a Team Leader in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This role is a 1st Shift position available Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Pay is $22.00 per hour with weekly pay.

As a Team Lead, you will lead continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of warehouse operations. Your responsibilities include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting, and day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading. You will allocate resources and organize daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics. You will inspire and guide team members toward improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI) performance using appropriate leadership styles and methods.

You will assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and provide necessary technology and tools to perform their jobs. You will promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse. A daily report will be completed and action plans will be proposed to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels. Other duties as assigned may also arise.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proactively approaches responsibilities
• Maintains composure under pressure
• Working using health and safety methods
