Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seekinga Sonographer for our Radiology Department as we continue to grow. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department
:
Utilizing the newest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies,the Radiology Department provides 24/7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echocardiography ultrasound, PET and CT, and MRI.

A typical day will include:Performing routine diagnostic abdomen, OB, pelvic and small part ultrasound examinations; also performing vascular, carotid, venous, and arterial Doppler exams.

• Prepares patient for examinations, positioning and / or immobilizing patient in accordance with type of procedure to be administered, considering the safety, physical, and psychological needs of the patient
• Performs examination, adjusting control panel settings, such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure, as necessary
• Assists Radiologist and Medical Staff as required, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and assisting during procedures
• Assures optimal imaging has been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, re-imaging as necessary

The position is:Full-time nights with weekend option working 72 hours per pay period - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7pm-7am- and getting paid for 80.

• $28-$36.40/hour

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiology program, or equivalent
• Experience:
  
  1 year of experience preferred
• Skills:
  
  Patient care
• Licensure/Certification:
  
  Certified bythe American Registry of Medical Sonographers
