Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting aRadiology Technologist to work at our main hospital in Bolivar, MO.CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. About the department
:
Utilizing the newest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies,the Radiology Department provides 24/7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echocardiography ultrasound, PET and CT, and MRI.

A typical day will include:Performing routine and specialized x-rayexaminations in both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center.

• Preparespatients for examinations, positioning and / or immobilizing the patient in accordance with the type of procedure to be administered, and while considering the safety, physical, and psychological needs of the patient
• Performs examination, adjusting control panel settings, such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure, as necessary
• Processesdata assuring optimal imaginghas been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, re-imaging as necessary
• Assists Radiologist and Medical Staff as required, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and administering barium and IV contrast solutions

This position is: Full-time evenings, 72 hours/week, M - Th, 4:30pm to 2:30am.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  
  Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience performing CT is preferred, but training can be provided
• Skills:
  
  Verbal and non-verbal communication, examination skills, patient safety
• Licensure/Certification:
  Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
