Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our staff in the Hospital Pharmacy department! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the Department: CMH Hospital Pharmacy compounds and dispenses medications by means of standard physical and chemical procedures to fill medication orders and prescription requests issued by physicians and other qualified prescribers. Ensures safe and efficient medication distribution throughout the organization and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
A typical dayA typical day will include: Assisting the Pharmacist in a variety of Pharmacy related duties. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications.
Responsibilities- Requires the ability to maintain courteous and diplomatic relations with physicians, nursing staff, and patients.
- Promotes good interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships.
- Collaborates with all care providers to ensure continuity of care for patients as they move throughout the organization.
- Education:
Preferred HS diploma or equivalent - Experience:
Preferred Hospital or retail Pharmacy Experience - Skills:
Ability to exhibit customer service skills that demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of each patient and ability to navigate electronic medical records - Licensure/Certification:
Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri - Physical:
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
The position is
:
Full-time days; four 10 hour shifts, and every other weekend.
