Overview
Schedule - Shift - Hours Part Time - Rotating - varied. Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting a Nutritional Service Worker to care for our residents at Parkview Healthcare Facility. CMH comprises 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility, offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more.
About the area: Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus in Bolivar has a hometown feel and affordable housing options. Springfield is 40 minutes away with various attractions and dining options, and Branson is about an hour away with shows and family activities.
About the facility: Parkview Health Care Facility (PVHCF) is a 78-bed long-term skilled nursing facility with a 15-bed memory care unit for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
ResponsibilitiesA typical day includes: Keeping work space clean and clutter free, operating the dishwasher effectively, communicating with residents and meal service teams, assisting with prep of salad bar and desserts, serving residents at meal times, stocking food shipments as they arrive, and practicing proper sanitation skills.
As a Cook you would: Communicate with coworkers and other departments/residents’ families, follow menus and recipes, maintain safe food temperatures, work with two nutritional service aides, keep the work area clean, and maintain proper sanitation.
- Updating the menu board in break room and dining room
- Preparing and passing drinks and meals in dining room
- Greeting and serving customers in a positive manner
- Restocking the kitchen, dining room, pantry, and break room
- Education: NA
- Experience: Preferred, will train
- Skills: Communication
- Licensure/Certification: Family and Friends CPR within 6 months of employment
- Cook Position Requirement:
Food Handlers License, will assist in obtaining
- Cook Position Requirement:
- Physical: Ability to stand for 90% of the day and sit for the remaining 10%
