Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MOis hiring a certified Physical Therapy Assistant to join their dynamic team providing services in an outpatient setting.
CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus in Bolivar featuresstate-of-the-art technologies andnewly renovated and expanded facilities. Equipped with specialized technologies, including Balance Master, Vital Stim, and Anodyne, the Rehab Services Department works closely with physicians to provide acute and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to restore the functional abilities of patients. Emphasis is placed on collaboration and teamwork, and new therapists are encouraged to grow their skills through professional development and mentorship. The department routinely finishes within the 90 th percentile or better in the nation for patient satisfaction.
Atypical day includes:
Assisting therapists to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient therapy treatments utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment,and supplies to achieve intended outcomes.
- Follows plans of care provided by therapists and monitor and reportprogress
- Communicates with patients and caregivers to provide clear direction son the use of rehabilitative devices and equipment
- Documents patient care services with relevant and timely information
- Prepares and maintains work spaces and equipment
PRN between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Job Requirements:- Education:
Completion of aPhysical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate'sDegree from an accredited institution - Experience:
New graduates welcome; 1year of experience preferred - Skills:
Patient care, problem-solving, customer service, and listening skills - Licensure/Certification:
Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant Certificate - Physical:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
