Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring aSurgical Tech to join our team in the Operating Roomat the main hospital! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus is located in Bolivar, Missouri,where you ll find a hometown feel and affordable housing options. About the department: The OR consists of 23 active surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries each month. There are 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff each day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together.

A typical day includes: Assisting with the supplies and needs of the department, maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment, and knowing and applying aseptic and sterile techniques as applicable.

• Provides perioperative care of the patient
• Prepares the operating room and equipment
• Provides support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway

• Education:
  
  Associate Degree
• Experience:
  
  Certified Surgical Technologist or LPN with scrub tech experience
• Skills:
  
  Organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask
• Licensure/Certification:
  Certified Surgical Technologist is preferred
• Physical:
  Ability to work standing 90% of the day and work for the remaining 10% at a computer

The position is
:
Part-time working 40 hours every two weeks, 7:00am-5:30pm
