• Schedule - Shift - Hours Part Time - Days - 7am- 330pm

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Unit Clerk for the Ambulatory Surgery Center! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

CMH Ambulatory Surgery Center is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered surgical care in a safe, efficient, and comfortable outpatient setting. Our department specializes in same-day surgical procedures, allowing patients to return home and recover in familiar surroundings while receiving the highest standards of medical care.

Scheduling and updating surgical case lists, tracking patient status, and communicating delays or changes as needed.

• Preparing the unit for daily surgical cases by organizing patient charts, verifying documentation, and ensuring consent forms, physician orders, and required paperwork are complete.
• Entering, updating, and maintaining accurate patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Coordinating communication between surgeons, anesthesia, nursing staff, and ancillary departments
• Supporting discharge processes by assisting with paperwork, follow-up appointment information, and patient instructions

• Education:
  
  HS diploma
• Experience:
  
  1 year of customer service or clerical
• Skills:
  
  organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of day and stand for the remaining 10%

Full-Time, days 8:30am-5pm.
