Overview

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Paramedic to join our team in the Emergency Department. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: The Emergency Department at CMH is a 12-bed unit with three designated trauma beds, designated OB/GYN, cardiac and obstetric rooms and eight medical beds. We serve as the closest hospital to Polk County and six surrounding counties in our service area.

Knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment and nursing procedures in the care of the Emergency Department patients, while maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment.

• Providing excellent quality of care to Emergency Department patients and performing as a team member by assisting the clinical staff
• Assisting in providing safe, appropriate care to patients
• Documenting the patient s and departmental records in a timely, accurate, and concise manner
• Assessing the patient; identifying physical, psychological, cultural, spiritual, and social needs

• Education:
  
  Appropriate EMT-P training course; preferred education and training with 12 lead EKG, basic Arrhythmia, and NRP
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1 year EMS or emergency department
• Skills:
  
  organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking
• Licensure/Certification:
  Active Missouri EMT-P license
• Physical:
  Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Part-time, rotating; hours may vary.
