Clerical Technician

• Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days - 8:00am - 4:30pm

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MOis hiring a Clerk tojoin ourstaff in the Surgical Services Department.

CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: CMH Surgical Services Clinic meets all the general surgery needs of our patients. From diagnostic evaluation to minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery, our physicians and staff will take great care of you.

A typical day includes: Answering the telephone and routing to the appropriate person.

• Scheduling patient appointments, keeping the reception area neat and clean
• Obtaining Universal Consent, updating patient insurance and demographic information.
• Collecting clinic co-pays, and drafting letters for patients.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  
  HS diploma
• Experience:
  
  1 year of customer service or clerical experience
• Skills:
  
  organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking
• Licensure/Certification:
  
  N/A
• Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%

The position is: Full-time days 8:00 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.
