The director of Nursing develops, maintains, and assures that the following are performed to promote quality nursing care:

• Overseeing operation/policies and procedures
• Supervising of staff, budget, education, employee selection/orientation, coordination, and documentation
• Settingan example to other employees with aprofessional attitude

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1 year
  
  LTC experience, must have been RN for at least 5 years
• Skills:
  
  Leadership skills, organization, multitasking
• License: RN
• Physical: the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and to thrive in a fast paced environment
